摘　　要：本文首先建立Γ-环的一般根理论,然后利用该理论对素根给出了六种新的刻划。We have established the general theory of radicals for gamma rings. With this theory we give new characterizations of the prime radical in six ways . These ways are the upper radical, the lower radical, a radical property, the intersection of semi - prime ideals, Baer's model and m - nilpotent elements.
