摘  要:本文基于一项问卷调查,了解目前大学英语教师的自主发展现状,并提出可行性的自主发展策略。调查显示,教师虽有自主发展意识和想法,但实际投入少,实施存在困难。因此,教师应克服消极情感,加大行动力度,将自我学习与合作学习相结合,开展反思实践与行动研究,实现教学与科研共进步。This study conducts an investigation on the current situation of college English teachers' self-development by using questionnaire survey and comes up with effective strategies. The findings reveal that teachers have difficulty in putting their ideas and thoughts of self-development into actions. Teachers should overcome their passive emotions and step up efforts in practice. They should combine self-study with group-study and conduct reflective practice and action research to improve both their teaching and ability of doing research.
