摘　　要：大吴泥塑是国家级非物质文化遗产,是特色浓郁的潮州民间工艺。目前对泥塑这一领域的汉英翻译研究较为鲜见,缺乏专业、详尽的英语外宣资料,非遗外宣资料的翻译工作落后。提出以目的论为翻译准则,根据大吴泥塑的造型分类、制作流程和技艺特色,适当选择归化和异化策略,综合运用直译、意译、音译加注、音译加意译、直译加注、变译等方法进行翻译。力求既能准确传达信息,又能保留其地方特色。Dawu Clay Sculpture,with strong local characteristics of Chaozhou,is a state-level intangible cultural heritage.As there is a lack of professional and full English introduction of Dawu Clay Sculpture,the research on C-E publicity translation of clay sculpture need improvement.On the basis of spokos theory,this essay discusses the C-E translation of Dawu Clay Sculpture,applying the translation strategies(domesticataion/foreignization)and the translation methods(mainly literal translation and transliteration)to convey accurate information and preserve local features.
