摘　　要：实践性和寄生性是统计学科的两大特征。传统的统计教育偏重理论传授和学术引导,而轻视技能形成和实践能力培养,不能适应经济发展对人才的需求。大数据环境下,数据的规模、类型、结构和增长速度发生质的飞跃,为应用统计专业人才培养提出新的要求,转型是应用统计学专业可持续发展的必由之路。针对传统统计教育中存在的问题,从教学内容与课程体系、教师队伍建设、实践教学和课程考核方式四个方面,探讨大数据背景下应用统计学专业转型发展之路,为该专业人才培养提供借鉴和参考。Practicalness and parasitism are the two major characteristics of statistics.The traditional education always stress imparting the knowledge and directing academic research,but ignore the forming of the special skills and practical ability.Thus it could not satisfy the requirement of development of society for cultivating practical talents.Meanwhile,in the setting of big data,the size,types,structure and the growth rate of data have undergone a qualitative leap,which raises a higher demand to the talent development of applied statistics.Therefore,transitional development is the only road of sustained development of the major of applied statistics.In this paper,the transitional developments of the major of applied statistics are discussed in terms of teaching contents and curricular system,teachers’education,practical teaching and examination forms aiming at the problems that exist in the traditional education.The conclusion obtained can provide reference for the specialized talent development.
