摘　　要：高职英语语言文化类选修课课程的开设是推进高职英语教学改革的重要途径之一,对培养学生文化素质和跨文化能力,促进学生可持续发展有重要意义。文章探讨了对开设此类课程的必要性及课程开设的相关问题和解决对策。Elective courses in English language and culture is one of the important ways to promote the vocational English teaching reform.It is of great significance in cultivating the students'cultural quality and cross-cultural ability and improving their sustainable development.This paper explores the necessity of such courses,related problems and strategies.
