文化误译的超文本分析——以陶瓷器物名称翻译为例

摘　　要：文化误译是文化译介过程中所产生的纰缪。作为对文化特征概括性描述的陶瓷名称,历史内蕴深厚,民族特色显著;其翻译极为考究,且颇具难度。上乘的翻译能够彰显器物的文化蕴涵,揭示器物的民族编码,传递器物的精神能量,而错误的翻译不仅丧失了这些功能,还会对陶瓷文化传播与交流产生负面影响。本文从搜集到的涉外宣传及旅游资料中,整理出陶瓷器物名称的典型误译,并进行了超文本分析,以期对陶瓷文化翻译有所裨益。Cultural mistranslation appears in the process of translating culture.As generalized description of cultural features,the names of ceramic wares have profound connotation of history and remarkable characteristics of nation.It is fastidious and difficult to translate the names of ceramic wares.The first-class translation,however,is able to express the cultural connotation,to reveal the national codes,and to transmit the spiritual energy.The mistranslation cannot do as well as the first-class,and then has negative impact upon the transmission and exchange of ceramic culture.We list typical errors of translating the names of ceramic wares based on the materials we have collected,and analyze the errors from extra-textual perspective in a bid to be beneficial to the translation of ceramic culture.
