摘 要:美学史所研究的对象无疑是美,而丑作为美的对立面,按理说应该不属于美学的范畴,但是在艺术中却存在着不少化丑为美的范例,这些丑的形象能给人带来美的享受,可见丑也可以被列入到审美的范畴之中。然而在众多思想家关于美的讨论中往往会忽略丑的存在,文章以朱光潜的《西方美学史》为例,以美学的研究对象——美为参照物,梳理西方美学史上思想家关于丑的论述,谈及丑的相对性、丑的形式与内容以及美与丑的相互转化,从而将丑作为一个独特的范畴进行思考。There is no doubt that the object of aesthetic history is beauty while the opposite of beauty-ugliness,does not belong to the category of aesthetics actually.However,there are many examples of ugliness turning to beauty in art,and those images of ugliness can also bring people feeling of beauty,thus the ugliness can be included in the aesthetic category.While in the aesthetic discussions,the exist of ugliness has always been ignored by many ideologists.Taking“History of the Western Aesthetics”of Zhu Guangqian as an example,taking the object of aesthetic-beauty as the reference,this paper combs the ideologist’s discussions on ugliness in the history of the western aesthetics,referring the relativity of ugliness,the form and content of ugliness and the mutual transformation of beauty and ugliness,thus reflects on the ugliness regarding it as an unique category.
