摘  要:学习动机作为一种心理过程,它促使学生朝着设定的学习目标前进和发展。它对于学生的学习兴趣、自我效能感、学业成绩都有很大影响。笔者试着从学习动机的概念和重要性,结合艺术类高职学生英语学习现状入手,对艺术类高职学生自身提出了一些激发英语学习动机的对策,以期通过激发其学习动机起到提高其学业成绩的目的。Learning motivation is a psychological process that motivates students to move forward and develop toward set learning goals.It has a great influence on students'interest in learning,self-efficacy and academic performance.Starting from the concept and importance of learning motivation and the current status of art higher vocational students'English learning,the writer tries to put forward some countermeasures for inspiring English learning motivation for art higher vocational student,in order to improve their academic performance by stimulating their learning motivation.
