摘  要:"学而优则仕"既是孔子倡导的重要教育思想,也体现了儒家"内圣外王"的政治理想。它的提出是春秋时期治国理政、选贤任能和各学派以其学说救治社会的需要,透射出士君子的担当情怀、伦理追寻、能力要求以及平等观念。对其的功利性误读、对时代背景把握的缺乏,使对这一理念发生了曲解。当然,这一理念也存在着一定的历史局限性,但这并不妨碍在把握"学而优则仕"真正语义的基础上,发扬其所透射出的精神内涵与价值追求。"A good scholar can become an official"is an important educational idea of Kongzi,and reflects the political ideals"Neisheng-Waiwang"of Confucianism.Presenting the idea was the demand for administering a country,appointing people according to their merits,and rescuing society by the schools′doctrines during the Spring and Autumn Period.The idea projects the gentlemen′s undertaking affectionateness,moral aspiring,ability requirement and equality concept.The understanding of utilitarianism and the lack of grasp of the background of the times have misinterpreted the idea.There is no denying that this idea also has some historical limitations.But,this can not obstruct us to promote the spritual connotation and value pursuit reflected by this thought on the basis of understanding its true meaning.
