医学本科生的英语四级过级率及影响因素研究

摘　　要：[目的]本研究旨在探讨医学本科生的英语四级过级率的现状及其影响因素。[方法]采用普查的方式,对全校3384名考生的英语四级过级率进行单因素和多因素统计分析。[结果]2016年6月英语考试全校单次过级率为15.96%。经单因素X2检验,女性过级率高于男性,5年制过级率高于4年制,一本录取学生的过级率高于二本或其他录取的学生,不同年级、学院、专业的过级率差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。经多因素Logistic回归分析,结果提示:性别、学制、录取批次、年级4个因素对英语四级过级率的影响有统计学意义(P<0.05),即女性、5年制、一本录取、低年级的考生英语四级过级率更高。[结论]建议大学英语学习中,加强和提高男生、二本或其他录取学生、四年制学生、高年级学生的英语学习成绩,有利于提高全校的英语四级过级率。Objective:The purpose of this study was to explore the current situation and influencing factors of the passing rate of CET-4(College English Test Band 4)among medical undergraduates.Methods:By using census method,a total of 3384 candidates'passing rates of CET-4 were analyzed by univariate and multivariate statistics.Results:The single passing rate of English examination in June 2016 was 15.96%.By single factor test,the passing rate of the female was higher than that of the male,5-year system was higher than that of the 4-year system,first batch of enrollment was higher than that of the second batch or others of enrollment students,and the difference of the passing rate in different grades,colleges and majors was statistically significant(P<0.05).Through multivariate logistic regression analysis,the results showed that the 4 factors of gender,school system of years,admission batch and grade had significant influence on the passing rate of CET-4(P<0.05),that is,women,5-year system,first batch of enrollment,and lower-grade examinees were higher in the passing rate of CET-4.Conclusions:It is suggested that in College English study,the English learning achievement of the male,the second batch or other of enrollment students,4-year system students and higher-grade students will be beneficial to the improvement of the passing rate of CET-4 in the college.
