摘  要:文章从一个对外汉语教师的角度,对改进汉语水平考试(下称"汉考")提出几点建议:1.建议编制"汉语词汇和词法等级大纲"及"汉语最低限度词汇表"和"专业汉语词汇表",编制"汉字知识等级大纲"及"最低限度汉字表"和"专业汉字表";用这两个大纲和附表代替现行的《汉语水平词汇等级大纲》和《汉字等级大纲》。2.建议汉考目标单纯化,只测定外国学生进入中国高校的汉语能力。为此,建议汉考按专业分为几种试卷。3.为了使汉考更具中国特色,更能针对汉语特点,考试宜简化,但应更有效,使之更加适应学生专业学习的语言要求。文章指出,汉考应该准确定位,并确定一些共同的原则。This paper puts forward some suggestions concerning the improvement of HSK,from the point of view of a teacher of Chinese as a foreign language.The suggestions are maily:1.that a graded syllabus of Chinese lexicology and morphology,with a minimum Chinese vocabulary and Chinese vocabularies of various specialties and a graded syllabus of theory of Chinese characters with a minimum list of Chinese characters and lists of Chinese characters for various specialties should be devel-oped;2.That indication of Chinese proficiency to colleges and universities should be the only purpose of HSK,which will make HSK more effective;3.that,for a better embodiment of Chinese style and the characteristics of the Chinese language,there should be less test papers but more effective and accurate.In addition,it suggests that HSK needs more accurate posi-tioning,i.e.it is primarily correlated with the preparatory Chinese program(PCP),but it is not dominate over any Chinese program(s),i.e.HSK and Chinese program(s)are mutually complementary and supportive.In the light of this fact,there should be some principles that are common to both HSK and the preparatory Chinese program,like,for instance,more promi-nence should be given to listening and reading abilities in HSK and PCP,and both should be geared more closely to the real situation of the future specialties studies of students/candidates.
