摘  要:大学英语教学的目标是培养学生的英语应用能力,提高他们的跨文化交际意识和交际能力,培养他们的自学能力。学生自学能力和听力能力的培养是十分必要的。从大学生听、说、读、写基础英语应用能力的现状看,听说能力最弱。教师在课堂上的讲授是不够的,学生的自主学习非常重要。这就要求教师更加重视大学英语听力的自主学习。教育者应为学习者提供相应的学习策略,帮助学习者提高自主学习的效率和质量,从而提高大学英语教学的有效性。The goal of College English teaching is to cultivate students’ English application ability,improve their intercultural communication awareness and communicative competence,and cultivate their self-learning ability. From the current situation of college students’ basic English application ability about listening,speaking,reading and writing,the ability of listening and speaking is the weakest. Teachers’ teaching only are not enough. Students’ independent learning is very important,which requires teachers to pay more attention to the independent learning of College English listening.Educators should help learners improve the efficiency and quality of independent learning by providing corresponding learning strategies so as to improve the effectiveness of College English teaching.
