取消成人本科英语统考及学位考试探究

摘　　要：成人本科学员如果不能通过英语统考就不能毕业,不能通过学位英语考试就不能取得学位。这种强制规定既无法律依据,缺乏民意基础;又不符合教育及考试基本规律,有违语言属性,不利于社会经济发展及个人专业职业发展。究其原因,有社会环境因素,但更主要的还是惰政和利益使然。英语必考制度不仅不会提高教育质量,反而会失去文化自信,影响教育质量,浪费社会资源。稍加调研论证,完全可以其他方式来替代,从而达到真正的目的。这种必考制度,应该予以彻底改革,坚决取消。Adult undergraduate students cannot graduate without passing the unified English test.They cannot get a degree without passing the degree English examination.This kind of compulsory regulation has no legal basis,lack of public identity.It does not conform to the basic principles of education and examination,and it violates the language attribute,which is not conducive to social and economic development and personal career development.The reason is that there are social environmental factors.But more importantly,it is due to the laziness of management and interests inside.The English compulsory examination system will not improve the quality of education,it will also lose cultural self-confidence,affect the quality of education and waste social resources.A little research and argumentation can help to conclude that it be completely replaced by other means to achieve the real goal.This kind of mandatory examination system should be thoroughly reformed and resolutely cancelled.
