摘　　要：通过对科技典籍《天工开物》英译者王义静、王海燕和刘迎春教授进行访谈,本文探究了《大中华文库》(汉英对照)之《天工开物》英译过程中影响译者翻译该部科技典籍的几个重要因素,并邀请三位译者对科技典籍和《大中华文库》汉英对照丛书的翻译和出版进行了评价。希望本访谈能够对国内译界开展中国典籍的译者研究和翻译批评研究提供一定的借鉴。The present paper, based on an interview with Professors Wang Yijing, Wang Haiyan and Liu Yingchun, English translators of the Chinese sci-tech classic Tian Gong Kai Wu, probes into some important influential factors in their translation of the above-mentioned classic as part of the national publishing project Library of Chinese Classics (Chinese-English) series. Meanwhile, the three translators, upon quest of the interviewer, aired their views on the translation and publication of Chinese sci-tech classics and other classics in the Library of Chinese Classics (Chinese-English) series at large. It is hoped that this interview can shed light on the translator study and translation criticism of Chinese classics in China’s translation academia.
