摘　　要：笔者与宋涛的相识,缘于他的书法作品。初见宋涛的行草书法,既感气足神完、刚劲有力,又给人以酣畅大气、郁勃灵秀的美境,尤其是他为杭州火车东站创作书写的巨幅行书作品,更以浓墨榜书的磅礴之势与宋代柳永词《望海潮》大开大合、波澜起伏的韵律、节奏相映成趣。犹记得2013年春天,杭州火车东站改建工程即将完工时,有关部门邀请宋涛为这座大型铁路枢纽创作书法作品。Song Tao,born in 1955,is an accomplished calligrapher based in Hangzhou,capital of eastern China’s Zhejiang Province.Many of his calligraphy works can be seen across the city.The most prominent calligraphy he has written for the city is probably a 30-square-meter calligraphy work done for East Hangzhou Railway Station toward the end of a refurbishment project in the spring of 2013.Commissioned by the city government,Song went through ancient poems and essays before deciding upon a long poem about the prosperity and natural beauty of Hangzhou by Liu Yong.
