It has been proved that personal motivation plays a key role in knowledge sharing intention and behavior. However, there is still a lack of in-depth discussion on the relationship among personality differences, knowledge sharing and individual intrinsic motivation. This paper uses Bootstrapping multiple mediating variables to test the multiple mediating effects of intrinsic motivation on personality characteristics and knowledge sharing. The results show that the two factors of intrinsic motivation-self-efficacy and task pleasure-are two factors of intrinsic motivation, which are self-efficacy and task pleasure, both can significantly mediate the relationship between rigor and knowledge-sharing behavior. At the same time, it is found that extroverts have stronger internal motivation to share knowledge, and then produce knowledge-sharing behavior.
