探索英语谚语在农民工英语培训中的运用

摘　　要：有越来越多的农民工自觉地参加到英语培训队伍中来。农民工由于年纪大导致记忆力不佳,学习时间又相对较少,对要记忆的内容特感困难。若在农民工英语培训中适时穿插英语谚语,不仅有利于他们学习英语,提高英语实际运用能力,还能帮助他们了解英语国家文化,提高思想道德修养。英语谚语教学应注意教育性、适切性、灵活性、创造性等原则。More and more rural workers are coming to the English training program. Old in age, poor in memory and little in time, they have found it difficult to learn something. Introducing some English proverbs into the English training program can be not only beneficial for the workers to learn English and improve their English practical application ability, but also help them to under the English culture, and have them ideologically educated. Such principles as education, suitability, flexibility, creativity, etc, should be observed in English proverb teaching.
