摘  要:本文依据情状体假说(Andersen & Shirai 1996),基于中国学习者和英语本族语者口语和书面语语料库,考察中国大学生英语进行体产出情况。结果发现:1)中国学习者和英语本族语者英语进行体的使用频率在口语语料中均高于书面语;2)在口语和书面语语料中,中国学习者和英语本族语者进行体的使用都受动词情状体影响,动词情状体在进行体中的使用频率排序均为:活动动词>完结动词>达成动词,此结果与情状体假说关于进行体的一个预测一致;3)与英语本族语者相比,中国学习者使用活动动词频率更高,而使用达成动词和状态动词频率低。在口语中,中国学习者将进行体标记过度用于状态动词,这一结果不支持情状体假说关于进行体的另一个预测,即进行体不会错误地标记于状态动词。本文从英、汉进行体标记的差异、原型假说及基于使用的语言观对研究结果进行了解释。In virtue of the Aspect Hypothesis(AH, Andersen & Shirai 1996), this study investigated Chinese learners’ production of the English progiessive aspect(EPA), based on the data from Chinese learners’ and native speakers’ spoken and written corpora. The findings show that: 1) The frequency of using EPA by Chinese learners and native speakers is higher in spoken corpora than in written corpora;2) In both spoken and written corpora, Chinese learners and native speakers’ use of EPA is influenced by lexical aspect of verbs. The ranking order of verb frequency in EPA is activity verbs > achievement verbs > accomplishment verbs, which is in agreement with one of the predictions made by the AH concerning EPA. Compared with native speakers, Chinese learners use more activity verbs, but underuse achievement and stative verbs in EPA. Chinese learners wrongly overextend progressive markings to stative verbs, which is against the prediction made by the AH. The findings are explained from the perspectives of the differences between Chinese and EPA markings, Prototype Hypothesis and Usage-based Language View.
