摘　　要：以铜陵、芜湖城市雕塑为例,对现代城市雕塑中传统文化的传承与发展情况展开了分析,发现现代城市雕塑起到了传承城市历史文化的作用,并且推动了传统文化的发展,使城市文化魅力得到了充分体现。为持续推动传统文化的传承与发展,还要加强现代城市雕塑与地方文化、群众文化和都市文化的融合创新。This paper takes Tongling and Wuhu cities’ sculptures as examples to analyze the inheritance and development of traditional culture in modern city sculptures, and finds that modern cities’ sculptures play a role in inheriting the history and culture of the cities, and promote the development of traditional culture, fully reflecting the charm of urban culture. In order to continuously promote the inheritance and development of traditional culture, we should also strengthen the integration and innovation of modern urban sculptures with local culture, mass culture and urban culture.
