摘 要:随着我国交通运输业的快速发展,中国的交通管理逐渐转变为智能交通管理,车牌自动识别是智能交通管理重要环节之一.本文设计了包括车牌图像预处理、车牌图像区域提取、车牌图像字符分割、车牌图像字符识别等四个模块.提出基于最小欧式距离的模板匹配法,设计了GUI图形用户界面.采用最小欧式距离的模板匹配法和彩色特征的车牌定位法,实现车牌自动识别,此系统具有较高的识别率和识别速度,能快速、实时识别车牌字符.With the rapid development of China’s transportation industry, China’s traffic management has gradually transformed into an intelligent traffic nranagement system. Automatic license plate recognition is one of the important links in traffic management. This paper mainly designs four modules including license plate image preprocessing, license plate image area extraction, license plate image character segmentation and license plate image character recognition. A template matching method based on minimum Euclidean distance is proposed. The GUI graphical user interface is designed. The template matching method with minimum Euclidean distance and the license plate positioning method with color features are used to realize the automatic license plate recognition system with high recognition rate, recognition speed, and quick and real-time recognition of license plate characters.
