摘  要:为了调查大学英语教学大赛中优秀教师课堂的多模态话语特征,选取全国大学英语教学大赛决赛中两位选手的教学视频做为语料,整合了张德禄的多模态话语分析框架,并利用视频分析软件ELAN5.1进行量化分析。结果显示,两位教师所选择的模态类型基本一致,教师都注重非语言模态的选择调用;在不同教学阶段,模态复杂程度不同,模态选择和教学重点及任务复杂度有关,在课文理解阶段模态复杂程度最高,其次是组织活动阶段;大赛教师善于选择伴语言模态,如字体、声调等,和非语言模态,如目光、手势、表情,协同语言模态。研究认为教师应充分利用非语言模态,遵循模态选择原则,注重模态间的协同作用,以达到提升课堂教学效果的目的。In order to investigate the features of multimodal discourse of excellent teachers in college English teaching contest,two contestants’ teaching videos in the final of the 7th SFLEP National College English Teaching Contest are selected as the data. Zhang Delu’s framework of multimodal discourse analysis is adapted and video analysis software ELAN 5.1 is used for the quantitative analyse. The results show that two teachers’ modality employment are basically consistent,and both teachers pay attention to the selection of non-linguistic modalities.In different teaching stages,modal complexity is different,which is related to teaching focus and task complexity. Modal complexity is the highest in text comprehension stage,followed by organizational activity stage. The maximum modal complexity is showed in the stage of text comprehension,followed by the stage of organizing activities. Contestants are good at taking advantage of the paralanguages,such as font and tone,and non-linguistic modalities,such as gaze,gesture,facial expressions to cooperate and coordinate language modality. The study suggests that teachers should make full use of non-linguistic modalities,follow the principle of modality selection,and pay attention to the synergy among modes,so as to improve teaching effect.
