摘　　要：“雄安新区”作为一个国家级新区已得到国内外媒体的广泛关注;然而,在汉译英的过程中,汉语的“雄安新区”在外宣报道和学术研讨中却出现了各种各样的英语译法。文章通过比对国内外学界对“雄安新区”的英译,分析英语中“area”“district”“zone”“region”“territory”和“borough”等常见表达“地区”意义词之间的区别与联系,得出宜选用统一、规范的表达的结论。As a lately established state-level new district,“雄安新区” has already attracted widespread attention from the media in China and abroad. However, scholars in the academic circles as well as different media employ different ways to render “雄安新区,” which will naturally confuse the native English-speaking audience. We collect the different versions of “雄安新区” translated by the academic circles and different media in China and abroad, make a statistical analysis of them, and analyze in detail a group of English words that correspond to “(地)区” in Chinese, such as “area”,“district”,“zone”,“region”,“territory” and “borough”, compares their usages, and come to the conclusion that it is preferable to render “雄安新区” into “Xiong an New District”, as it is closest in meaning, standardized and idiomatic in expression.
