摘  要:本文通过梳理曹文轩作品在英语世界的传播与接受状况,对其作品外译版本及WorldCat馆藏统计发现,《青铜葵花》最受关注,馆藏高达894家;专业书评分析发现,专业读者对曹文轩作品评价相当正面;亚马逊图书网和Goodreads上的评论表明普通读者接受度和认可度非常高。本研究认为曹文轩作品传播与接受的成功得益于高质量的原作和译作、国际获奖以及出版商和发行商的推动。曹文轩个案对中国儿童文学“走出去”具有一定借鉴意义。This paper presents the translation,dissemination and reception of Cao Wenxuan's Bronze and Sunflower outside China.According to the WorldCat collections,Cao's Bronze and Sunflower has drawn the most attention with 894 collections worldwide.Moreover,Bronze and Sunflower is highly praised and recommended by the academic readers in the English-speaking world.A close analysis of the readers' reviews on Amazon and Goodreads reveals that Bronze and Sunflower is well received among general readers.This paper holds that the success of Bronze and Sunflower owes to a version of high-quality,international award-winning and the promotion by the publisher and distributor.Cao's successful case serves as an effective guide for future efforts in devising appropriate models of translation to help speed up the process of children's literature “going out”.
