摘　　要：专业教育与文理教育共同构成了现代高等教育的两个组成部分。专业教育具有理论和实践双重品质,同时受到学术和社会发展的影响。专业教育的双重品质在欧洲和美国的历史发展轨迹的不同,形成了两种不同的高等专业教育体系。Professional education and liberal education constitute two parts of modern higher education.Professional education,which is influenced by academic and social factors,has both theoretical and practical components.There are different social arrangements in Europe and the United States that how the theoretical and practical components are understood and institutionalized into education systems.Two different systems of higher professional education are formed in Europe and America.
