基于语料库的定性定量分析在阿育吠陀词汇梵-拉-英-汉四语词典编纂中的翻译应用

摘　　要：在编纂阿育吠陀梵-拉-英-汉四语词典的过程中,课题组从《印度阿育吠陀药典》(The Ayurvedic Pharmacopoeia of India,API)和《印度阿育吠陀处方集》(The Ayurvedic Formulary of India,AFI)中提取阿育吠陀梵语词汇及其英文和/或拉丁文的对照翻译共计6667条,采用人工查阅词典翻译、电子词典机器翻译、人机互动翻译相结合的办法,将其翻译成汉语,形成梵-拉-英-汉四语对照词典。为保证翻译质量,课题组利用美国杨百翰大学语料库、北京大学CCL语料库、北京语言大学BCC语料库和中国知网CNKI翻译助手对上述词条进行了定性定量分析和译文修正,并对原医典的英文翻译部分地提出了修改意见。In compiling Ayurvedic Sanskrit-Latin-English-Chinese dictionary, the team exacted from The Ayurvedic Pharmacopoeia of India (API) and The Ayurvedic Formulary of India (AFI) the Ayurvedic Sanskrit vocabulary and the corresponding Latin and/or English translations, 6667 in total. During the compiling, the team members refer to the edited dictionary, apply the methods of machine translation and human-computer interaction, to translate the 6667 items into Chinese, and form the Sanskrit-Latin- English-Chinese dictionary. To ensure the quality of translation, the team log in and utilize The Brigham Young University corpus, CCL Corpus of Peking University, BCC corpus of Beijing Language and Culture University and the CNKI Translator to carry out the quantitative and qualitative analyses of the 6667 entries mentioned above, as well as the correction of the translation. What’s more, the English translation of the original is suggested to be partly modified.
