摘　　要：我国现在正处在经济快速发展的关键时期,社会上需要各种各样的专业人才,当然一些有专业技术的高职学生在社会上还是有很大需求的,在追求高职学生的数量的时候,也要重视对学生质量的把控,特别是英语方面的学习,因为现在英语在我们国家已经是普遍适用,在各个行业都能看到英语的身影,所以提高自身的英语学习能力和英语功底就是显得特别必要,在高职院校,只注重在课堂上的学习是不足够的,还要将课后的时间利用起来,激发学生英语自主学习的积极性。China is now in a critical period of rapid economic development.The society needs a variety of professional talents.Of course,some high-level students with professional skills still have great needs in the society.When you are in quantity,you should also pay attention to the quality control of students,especially in English.Because English is now widely used in our country,you can see English in various industries,so improve your English leaming ability.And the English foundation is particularly necessary.In higher vocational colleges,it is not enough to focus on learning in the classroom.It is also necessary to use the time after class to stimulate the enthusiasm of students to leam English autonomously.
