摘　　要：玛格丽特·阿特伍德《洪水之年》中人物生存环境、人生经历与宗教理念都可以发掘出死亡意识,进而寻找人类生存的启示。恶劣的自然与社会环境警示人类要尊重自然,热爱生命;不同人物关于死亡的经历表明,畏惧死亡是人类普遍的心理现象,但在了解死亡必然性的基础上,人类可以更好地生存,也更容易做到坦然接受死亡;园丁组织的基督教理念与救赎行动给人类指明了一条生存出路,人类应当信仰虔诚,坚守善与爱的初衷,心怀感恩地共同建设美好家园。In Margaret Atwood’s The Year of Flood, the consciousness of death can be found from the living environment, life experience and religious ideas of characters, and thus the enlightenment of this death awareness to human survival. The bad natural and social environments warn human beings to respect nature and love life. The experiences of different characters in death shows that fear of death is a common psychological phenomenon of human beings. Based on the understanding of the necessity of death, human beings can both live better and accept death more readily. The Christian ideas and redemption actions of the gardener organizations show mankind a way to survival: Human beings should have a devout faith, stick to the original intention of kindness and love, and build a beautiful home together with gratitude.
