《二马》中文化词汇英译策略的描写性研究

摘　　要：基于描述翻译研究的方法论视角,研究小说《二马》中文化词汇的英译策略,手动提取原文中的汉语文化词汇及其译本中对应的"翻译",形成平行语对并进行数据统计.研究发现,译者使用到了八种翻译方法,总体上倾向于采用文化替换类翻译策略.译者在翻译方法上的选择主要受历史文化语境和文内语境的制约.此外,汉语语言系统的特殊性也从某种程度上制约了文化词汇的英译.The study investigated the translation of culture-loaded terms in Er Ma from the perspective of descriptive translation study(DTS) to interpret the translation behavior. The Chinese culture-loaded terms in the original text and their corresponding English "translations" in Mr. Ma Son were manually extracted to construct parallel language pairs to carry out data statistics. The results showed that eight methods were used in the translation, but generally the translator tended to adopt cultural substitution translation strategies. The translation process has been influenced by such factors as historical and cultural background, and linguistic context. Besides, the particularity of Chinese language is also an important factor.
