摘　　要：作为人类社会发展进程的一个组成部分 ,各国的民族文化既具有共性又具有个性。本文着重探讨了中英文化之间存在的典型差异及由此而产生的中英互译中的一些语言障碍。在跨语言翻译中 ,忽视中英语言中的文化因素会导致交际混乱 ,甚至令人尴尬 ,出现不信任感。为此 ,本文对翻译与文化之间的关系进行了尝试分析 ,并针对跨文化翻译交际中出现的一些语言问题提出了作者自己的看法。As a component part of the development of human society, national cultures share similarities and differences. This paper aims to show great dissimilarities existed in the Chinese and English cultures which present some linguistic barriers in translation between English and Chinese. An ignorance of cultural elements in English and Chinese could quite likely result in confusion, or worse, embarrassment and offence in interlingual translations. This thesis has also made a tentative analysis of the relation between culture and translation and put forward some possible techniques used in inter-cultural translation communication.
