医学英语阅读心理障碍及教学改革实证研究

摘  要:文章回顾了国内医学英语阅读的相关研究,借鉴二语习得、特殊用途英语以及心理语言学的相关理论,针对地方院校医学生阅读医学英语文献过程中的心理障碍,开展实证研究,研究方法包括面对面访谈与调查问卷,调查结果使用SPSS19.0软件进行统计分析。基于数据分析结果,文章从学习者阅读的心理认知特征出发,提出将阅读“自上而下”与“自下而上”两种阅读模式有机地结合起来;重视ESP专业文献阅读中基本语法的认知与学习;提倡语篇为导向的阅读学习模式,有针对性地开展医学英语阅读教学改革,进一步提高医学英语阅读的授课效果。Reviewing related studies concerning medical English reading in China,and resorting to relevant theories resulting from Second Language Acquisition(SLA),English for Specific Purposes(ESP)and psycholinguistics,this paper aims to present a case study on psychological obstacles of medical students in reading medical English literature in a local medical university.Research methods were composed of interviews and questionnaires.In addition,research results were statistically analyzed with SPSS19.0 software.Based on the analysis of research results,some specific measures were proposed which involved interactive reading model,consciousness-raising in learning English grammatical structures and discourse-based perspective in language learning.These elements would be effective in relevant reforms in ESP reading as well as in teaching outcomes.
