《我不是潘金莲》中的反讽修辞及其英译研究

摘　　要：反讽是一种修辞认知,在修辞技巧、修辞诗学和修辞哲学三个层面运作。刘震云的长篇小说《我不是潘金莲》是一个典型的反讽型文本,包括言语反讽、情境反讽和结构反讽等主要类型,共同参与文本的艺术构建,具有很强的批判功能。葛浩文夫妇的译文对大多反讽进行了再现,反讽效果与原文相似,但也删除了原文中很多反讽表达,反讽的效果与作用也随之流失,整体上弱化了原文中反讽修辞的场域效应。Irony is a kind of rhetorical cognition and operates at three levels,namely,rhetorical technique,rhetorical poetics and rhetorical philosophy.I Did Not Kill My Husband:A Novel written by Liu Zhenyun is a typical ironic text in which there are linguistic ironies,situational ironies,structural ironies and so on.These ironies enhance,to a large extent,the artistic appeal of the text and play the role of criticizing government officials in China.Goldblatt and Lin’s translation gain a similar ironic effect when they reproduce the ironies in the novel,but many ironies in the original text are omitted by the translators.Thus compared with the original novel,the overall ironic effect of the translation is,to a certain extent,weakened.
