关联-顺应模式下《黄帝内经》委婉语英译研究

摘　　要：《黄帝内经》(以下简称《内经》)中的委婉语因与民族文化、社会心理、风俗习惯等密切联系,其翻译一直是英译研究中的难点。以关联-顺应模式为指导,对认可度高、有权威性的两译本中的具体实例进行对比分析,提出《内经》中委婉语的翻译对策:注重中医文化特色时可采用音译加注的方法;为符合译语的表达习惯可在概念上对等转化、合理意译;委婉语含义与西医术语对应时宜简单直译,旨在达到成功交际的目的,丰富和完善中医英译。The translation of euphemisms in the Inner Canon of Huangdi has always been difficult,for they are closely related to national cultu re,social psychology and customs.Guided by Relevance-Adaptation Model,this paper analyzed the translation methods adopted in two popular translation versions of euphemisms in the Inner Canon of Huangdi.Drawing on the findings,the study proposed some more effective translation strategies:Transliteration plus annotation method can be used to emphasize the cultural characteristics of Chinese Medicine;For conceptually equivalent euphem isms,free translation can be taken so as to comply with the conventions of the target language;Literal translation can be used when the meaning of a Chinese euphem ism corresponds to a Western m edical term.The aim is to achieve the goal of successful comm unication,and to improve English translation of Chinese Medicine.
