中外合作校际交流项目外籍英语教师跨文化适应研究——以广西师范大学为例

摘　　要：随着我国中外合作办学项目的增多,外籍教师跨文化适应和管理已经引起了越来越多的关注。文章采用质的研究方法,以广西师范大学中外合作校际交流项目外籍英语教师为研究对象,探索其跨文化适应情况。研究发现:外籍教师对在中国的生活和工作持基本满意态度,并呈现出基本适应状态。但时间观念、法制观念、表达方式等方面的文化差异对其跨文化适应造成一定困难。在此研究的基础上,作者对外籍英语教师跨文化管理和培训提出了建议。More attention has recently been drawn to the cross-cultural management and intercultural adaptation of international staff as the increasing of Sino-Foreign Cooperative Education Programs in China.By quantitative methods,the research was conducted on the adaptation of international English teachers of Sino-Foreign Cooperative Education Programs at Guangxi Normal University.It was found that international English teachers were generally satisfied with their life and work in China and basically adapted,but the cultural differences,such as time concept,awareness of law,way of expression and so on,cause some adaptation difficulties.The study put forward suggestions for cross-cultural management and intercultural training of international English teachers based on research findings.
