摘　　要：通过对比两组不同水平的英语专业大学生隐喻理解能力,分析语言水平在隐喻理解中的作用,以期了解英语专业大学生的隐喻理解能力总体水平。结果发现:高水平被试的隐喻理解能力总体高于低水平的被试,但在个别隐喻句的理解上,语言水平差异的解释力不大;隐喻判断和隐喻解释之间存在正相关关系。By comparing the two groups of different levels of English majors’ metaphorical comprehension ability, this article analyzes the role of language level in metaphor understanding, in order to understand the overall level of English majors. The results showed that the metaphorical comprehension ability of the high-level subjects is better than that of the lower ones, but the interpretation of the individual metaphors has little explanatory power;the metaphorical identification and the metaphorical interpretation has a positive correlation.
