摘　　要：作为一篇论文的浓缩和精华,其撰写质量尤为重要。目前国内许多医学研究者在论文英文摘要的撰写上还存在很多问题。作者王燕针对这一情况,撰写了专著《医学论文英文摘要的句法研究》,从《新英格兰医学杂志》和《英国医学杂志》两种世界著名医学期刊选取一定数量的研究性论文的摘要,从一般句型,特殊句型以及动词等角度对这些摘要进行质化和量化以及历时和共时相结合的研究,旨在深入地剖析该类写作文体的句法特征,以提高读者英文摘要的写作质量。该书为基于语料的实证研究,对摘要的句法特征分析全面深刻,并且将研究与语言教学实践进行了紧密结合,是从事医学工作者及学生等的重要参考书目。as the miniature and essence of a paper,the quality of its writing is of high importance.At present,many medical researchers in China still have many problems in the writing of English abstracts.In response to this situation,Wang Yan wrote a monograph entitled"A Syntactic Study of Medical Research Article Abstracts",in which she selected a number of abstracts from research papers in two world-renowned medical journals,New England Journal of Medicine and British Medical Journal.A syntactic study was conducted from the perspective of general sentence patterns,special sentence patterns and verbs.Both qualitative and quantitative analyses of these abstracts were given,and meanwhile,a diachronic and synchronic study on them was carried out,in order to deeply analyze syntactic features of this type of writing.This book aims at improving the quality of English abstract writing for readers.The book is a corpus-based empirical study.It analyzes syntactic features of the abstracts comprehensively and combines her research with language teaching practice.It is an important reference book for both medical workers and students.
