摘 要:教材建设对我国高水平人才培养具有战略意义。目前,我国高校非英语专业本科生学术英语阅读教材仍存在定位不明确、内容难易不当和多样性缺失等问题。依据叙事探究理论,按学生专业分类分别编写学术英语阅读教材,以专业领域科学家发现、发明的故事为重要题材,在理论上可以缓解上述问题,在对学生进行知识和能力教育的同时,也可以对学生进行思想道德素质培养。The construction of textbooks is of strategic importance in teaching and cultivation of high-level talents in China. At present, problems still exist in academic English reading textbooks for Chinese undergraduates of Non-English majors, such as unclear orientation, improper handling of difficult contents, insufficient supply of diversity etc. To solve these problems, academic English reading textbooks can be compiled respectively for different specialties. Based on the theory of narrative inquiry, scientists’ stories of great discoveries and inventions in different specialties can serve as significant textbook resources, which will not only impart knowledge and abilities to students, but will cultivate their mind and morals as well.
