民办高校全国大学英语四六级考试通过率的现状研究

摘　　要：全国大学英语四六级考试是教育部主管的一项全国性的英语考试,其目的是对大学生的实际英语能力进行客观、准确的测量,为大学英语教学提供测评服务。大学英语考试是一项大规模标准化考试,是一个“标准关联的常模参照测验”。本文介绍了在民办高校中,全国大学英语四六级考试通过率的现状,论述英语基础教学对全国大学英语四六级考试的影响和作用。提出了民办高校如何致力于英语基础教学改革,不断提高教学质量,切实提高全国大学英语四六级考试考试通过率。The National College English Test Band 4 and Band 6 is a national English test administered by the Ministry of Education.Its purpose is to objectively and accurately measure college students'actual English competence and provide evaluation services for college English teaching.College English Test(CET)is a large-scale standardized test and a standard-related norm-reference test.This paper introduces the current situation of the passing rate of CET-4 and CET-6 in private colleges and universities,and discusses the influence and role of basic English teaching on CET-4 and CET-6.It is proposed that private colleges and universities should devote themselves to the reform of basic English teaching,constantly improve the quality of teaching and effectively improve the passing rate of CET-4 and CET-6.
