摘  要:通识教育在高等教育中的重要性越来越凸显,斯坦福大学在通识课程设置方面进行了大量有益尝试。文章详细介绍了斯坦福大学教育课程改革举措,深入剖析课程设置中思维方法与行为方式、写作、语言交流和有效思考四个模块,体现了斯坦福通识与专业课程融合递进、模块化通识课程体系内容完整、课程设置与通识教育目的相吻合、以能力为导向的通识教育价值观等特点,进一步提出其发展模式对我国大学开展通识教育的借鉴性启示。The importance of general education in higher education has become more and more prominent, and Stanford University has made a number of useful attempts in the design of its general education curriculum. It introduces the Stanford University education reform measures in detail, and analyzes the four modules thoroughly: the thinking methods and behaviors, the writing, the language communication and the effective thinking in the curriculum design, which embodies the characteristics of the integration of Stanford’s general knowledge and professional curriculum, the contents intact of the general education curriculum module, the match with the curriculum design and the aim of the general education, the ability-oriented concept of general educational value. Finally it proposes the enlightenment of its development model for the general education of Chinese universities.
