摘　　要：掌握大量的主动词汇是英语学习者提高英语综合运用能力的基础。然而,在缺乏英语语境的情况下记忆超过3500个单词和500个词组是一项异常艰巨的任务。中职学生不仅要听懂、读懂相当数量的英语单词,而且还要在认知的基础上掌握大约1000个主动词汇,熟练地将其运用于口头和书面表达中。mastering a large number of active vocabulary is the basis for English learners to improve their comprehensive English ability.However,memorizing more than 3,500 words and 500 phrases without an English context is a herculean task.Secondary vocational students should not only understand and read a considerable number of English words,but also grasp about 1000 active words on the basis of cognition,and skillfully use them in oral and written expressions.
