摘　　要：Dear Editor,In the past, enucleation has been considered the only available option and the standard of care for the management of malignant intraocular tumors. Thanks to the advances in the field of radiotherapy, new therapeutic approaches have been developed in the last decades, such as plaque brachytherapy and proton beam therapy(PBT)^([1]).
