摘 要:本文从认知与教学语法整合性视角,探究英语关系分句认知工作机制。在注意台上,陆标通过关系词入场元素为射体的名词短语等提供必要或附加信息,陆标或指向射体中的名词短语所指事物,或指向自身言语事件,或直接充当射体动作承受者;射体通过关系词入场元素,对陆标实现直接式、媒介式或嵌入式越控。在注意台下,概念化主体借助关系词入场元素,在言语行为域内进行互动和语义协商,将限制性、非限制性、双重性和嵌入式的关系分句所勾画的复杂言语事件整合到已有概念体系中。研究结果为中国英语学习者习得关系分句提供认知理据。From the integrative perspective of Cognitive Grammar and Teaching Grammar, this paper probes into the cognitive working mechanism of relative clauses. Onstage, by grounding elements of relative words, the landmark provides the nominal etc. of the trajector with necessary or extra information, with the landmark orienting the thing profiled by the nominal of the trajector or its own event, or directly acting as the patient of the trojector’s verb;the trajector overrides the landmark in direct, intermediate or embedded way. Offstage, interacting and negotiating in the speech act domain, the conceptualizers integrate the complicated event profiled by restrictive, non-restrictive, double, embedded relative clauses into their existing conceptual system. The findings will provide cognition evidence for English language learners of Chinese to acquire relative clauses.
