COCA英语语料库在英汉商务翻译教学中的应用

摘　　要：近年来,基于语料库的翻译教学模式日益受到学界关注,不过多数集中在平行语料库的应用。国内汉语单语语料库(如BCC和CLL)以及国外的英语单语语料库(如COCA和BNC)资源丰富,却较少应用于翻译教学。本文尝试探索COCA英语语料库在英汉商务翻译教学中的应用,为商务翻译教学改革提供借鉴,从而增强学生的自主学习能力。Corpus-assisted translation teaching has attracted much attention in recent years. However, the focus has been placed on the application of parallel corpora in translation teaching while the use of monolingual corpora has been seldom explored, despite their availability. Such corpora are BCC and CLL at home and BNC and COCA abroad. This article discusses the application of an English monolingual corpus COCA in English-Chinese business translation. It is suggested that the use of COCA in the teaching of business translation will enhance students’ self-learning abilities and thus improve the training of business translators.
