多模态话语视域下电影字幕翻译研究——以电影《英雄》为例分析

摘　　要：当今,随着国家之间的交流日益广泛,电影逐渐成为各国沟通交流的重要载体。但是由于文化、语言和思维方式上的差异,不同国家的电影在放映时主要借助字幕与观众进行观影交流。在这种情况下,电影字幕就以电影文化的衍生领域呈现在观众面前。文章以电影《英雄》为例,分析了多模态话语视域下电影字幕作为一种模态,与其他包括文字、图像、声音等在内的多种模态之间的互补关系,并论述了电影字幕对电影语篇整体意义的重要作用。Nowadays,with the increasingly extensive communication between countries,film has gradually become an important carrier of communication among countries.However,due to the differences in culture,language and way of thinking,films in different countries mainly use subtitles to communicate with the audience when they are shown.In this case,film subtitles are presented to the audience in the derivative field of film culture.Taking the movie“The Hero”as an example,this paper analyzes the complementary relationship between film subtitles as a mode and other modes including text,image,sound,etc.in the multimodal discourse,and discusses the important role of film subtitles in the overall meaning of the film text.
