摘  要:语言观是人们对语言的总的看法和根本观点,影响并指导外语教学实践。自20世纪70年代以来,体认语言观逐步形成并完善,揭示了语言的体验性和认知性,对外语教学实践富有启发意义。体认语言观视角下的外语教学遵循基于使用的教学原则,以构式为语言教学单位,注重语言使用的理据性,引导学习者在使用中学习语言知识、学会使用语言,鼓励学习者根据语域和说话人意向等因素选择和使用语言表达式。Perspectives on language are the fundamental ideas upon and basic attitudes towards language, which influence and guide the practice of foreign language teaching. The embodiment perspective on language, developed and perfected since the 1970s, reveals the experiential and cognitive nature of language, and hence illuminates foreign language teaching with its insightful ideas. From this perspective, foreign language teaching, conducted under the usage-based principle, takes construction as the basic unit of language teaching. With the emphasis on motivation in language use, foreign language teaching is engaged in guiding the learners to acquire language knowledge and to learn to use language from concrete usage events. The learners should be encouraged to learn to use language according to registers and speakers’ intentions.
