摘  要:中医常以目属木,鼻属金,耳为水性而口为土,舌为火性。然《说卦》传则以“离为木,兑为口。”离卦为火性,兑卦属金性,如此则是眼为火,口为金。似与中医相悖,细究其矛盾背后实乃体用之异,眼兼木火,木为体而火为用;口兼金土,土为体而金为用。体用之说乃中国传统文化思想之核心所在。以易学自然观综合二者,可为儒家人文学说寻一天地自然之本体依据,以体用关系出发探究五德之自然观内涵,则可管窥中国传统思想天人合一之路向进程。The five-element theory is an important part in Traditional Chinese Medicine.People believe their eyes,nose,mouth,tongue and ears are respectively related to wood,gold,soil,fire,and water.However,in Zhouyi,it reads that“the eyes are related to fire,and the mouth is related to gold”.In the view of philosophical connotations,eyes have both fire and wood attributes,and mouth has both gold and soil attributes.The contradiction lies in the relation between the ontology and function,which is the core of Chinese traditional culture.Combination of ontology and function can provide some ontological basis for Confucian humanistic ideas.Studying connotation of view on nature in five virtues from perspective of relation between ontology and function,we can better understand Chinese traditional idea of harmony between human and nature.
