摘　　要：外国文学是世界各民族文化的精髓,是我们学习外国先进文化的重要途径。外国文学研究在发展和繁荣我国社会主义文化、建设社会主义精神文明过程中起着重要作用。文化创新是国家、民族存在和发展之魂。作为外国文学研究者,如何从事和创新外国文学研究,树立文化自信,从而为推动中国文学和文化的发展、创新和繁荣,为增强中华文化软实力做贡献具有极其重要的意义。外国文学研究的创新,就要具备与国内外学界的深度对话意识,进行文本细读,观照并关怀自然、社会和人生。这是外国文学研究创新的关键。Foreign literature is the cultural quintessence of each nation in the world,and an important means through which we learn advanced foreign culture.Foreign literary studies play a very important role in developing and prospering Chinese socialist culture and constructing socialist spiritual civilization.Cultural innovation is the soul of the existence and development of each nation and country.Therefore it maintains great significance for literary scholars to innovate foreign literary studies,and establish cultural confidence hence to contribute to the development,innovation and prosperity of Chinese literature and culture,and the improvement of Chinese cultural strength.To innovate foreign literary studies,we must have an awareness of deep dialogue with academic circles both at home and abroad,carry out textual close reading,and show solicitude for nature,society and life.These three aspects are the key of the originality of literary studies.
