摘　　要：From November 16 to 17,2019,the annual conference and membership congress of the China Criminal Procedure Law Research Institute was successfully held in Guangzhou.The annual conference was hosted by the China Criminal Procedure Law Research Institute,co-organized by Guangdong University of Foreign Studies Law School and Institute of Rule of Law.This year marks the 40th anniversary of the enactment of China’s Criminal Procedure Law.The theme of this annual meeting is‘Construction of the Rule of Law and Criminal Procedure:40 Years of the Criminal Procedure Law’.Wang Qijiang,PartyMember and Vice President of China Law Society,Gao Jinghong,Vice President of the Supreme People’s Court,Chen Guoqing,Deputy Procurator-General of the Supreme People’s Procuratorate,Chen Guangzhong,Honorary President of the China Criminal Procedure Law Research Institute,Bian Jianlin,President of the China Criminal Procedure Law Research Institute,Liang Weifa,President of China Law Society of Guangdong Province,Shi Youqi,President of Guangdong University of Foreign Studies,and other heads attended the conference.More than 350 representatives in the legal field from the Legislative Affairs Commission of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress,the Supervisory and Judicial Affairs Committee of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress,the Supreme People’s Court,the Supreme People’s Procuratorate,political and legal system of Guangdong Province,China University of Political Science and Law,Renmin University of China,Peking University and other institutions attended the conference.
