典籍英译中的回目人物本名研究——以赛珍珠《水浒传》英译为例

摘　　要：赛氏的《水浒传》译本是最早的英语全译本.借用翻译语言学派理论,从文本细读、等值翻译策略入手,通过数据统计,利用语用意义、文化差异、归化异化等概念,对小说回目中人物本名译文与原文在内容形式上的对等程度进行审视和评析,以期对赛译版《水浒传》的研究有所帮助.Pearl Buck’s translation of All Men are Brothers is the earliest complete English translation. Based on the theory of translation linguistics and by virtue of the strategies of close text reading and equivalent translation, this paper examines and evaluates in from and content the equivalence between the translation of original names of characters of each chapter and the original text from the following aspects: the concepts of data statistics, pragmatic meanings, cultural differences, domestication and foreignization, so as to provide help for studies on Pearl Buck’s version of All Men are Brothers.
