摘　　要：近年来,国家综合国力不断提升、国际性军事交流活动日趋频繁,军队的职能和使命不断拓展,一系列的变化对军人的外语能力提出了极大挑战,然而目前大部分官兵的外语只能达到日常会话水平,很难满足履行新时代军队使命任务的需求。作为培养军队外语人才的主阵地,军队院校应进一步深化大学英语教学改革,立足培养和提升学员的外语实际运用能力,为其日后遂行多样化军事任务奠定扎实的语言基础。Nowadays,the continuous increase of diversified military tasks pose a great challenge to PLA soldiers’foreign language proficiency,which is regarded as an essential capability in fulfilling the missions and tasks of China’s armed forces in the new era.Therefore,it is of great necessity for military academies to deepen the reform of college English teaching and consider it as the ultimate goal to enhance cadets’foreign language proficiency for the coming diversified military tasks.
