摘 要:丘汉平较早提出应从华侨社会宏观环境中去分析华侨教育问题,强调指出华侨教育负有培养知识技能及增进民族意识的双重使命,并注意从华侨与中国关系视角出发考察海外侨校的运作与实践。丘汉平提出,华侨教育应统筹海外与国内两大方面,同时兼顾归国侨生和国内青年两个群体,认为培养国内优秀青年以移民知识具有重要意义。作为民国时期华侨教育的代表性成果,丘汉平有关华侨教育的论述具有较强的学术价值和现实功用,对于当前海外华文教育仍具有一定借鉴和参考价值。Chiu’s main contribution is that he proposed earlier to analyze the problems of overseas Chinese education from the macroscopic social environment of overseas Chinese,emphasized that overseas Chinese education has the dual mission of cultivating knowledge and skills and enhancing national consciousness,and paid attention to the operation and practice of overseas Chinese schools from the perspective of the relationship between overseas Chinese and China.He pointed out that overseas Chinese education should take into account both overseas and domestic aspects,as well as two groups of returned overseas Chinese and domestic youth,and believed that it was of great significance to train excellent young people in China to immigrate knowledge.As a representative achievement of overseas Chinese education in the period of the Republic of China,Chiu’s discussion on overseas Chinese education has strong academic value and practical function,and still has certain reference value for the current overseas Chinese education.
